Privacy
HardBouncer handles as little of your email as possible. This page sets out exactly what is processed, why, and for how long.
1. Access requests
Access requests submitted through this website are not stored or retained.
2. Members' mailboxes
- HardBouncer acts only on messages from addresses or domains on the member's block list.
- Each of those messages is recorded in the member's record, then removed from the mailbox.
- Recorded messages are not read, analysed or modified.
- Mail from any sender not on the block list is never read or modified.
3. Record of blocked contact attempts
For every message received from a blocked sender, HardBouncer stores a record of the contact attempt with a unique reference number. Blocked senders are informed of this in the notice they receive.
This record exists so that members can document unwanted contact. It is retained for as long as the member's account is active and for 24 months afterwards, unless the member asks for it to be deleted sooner.
The record is made available to the member on request. It is not disclosed to anyone else except where the member asks us to provide it to their legal representatives or to the authorities, or where disclosure is required by law.
4. Service providers
HardBouncer runs on Cloudflare, which hosts this website, stores the data described above and delivers notices. We do not sell data, run advertising or use third-party analytics.
