Email harassment protection

Are you being harassed by email?

HardBouncer intercepts every message from the people you block and removes it from your inbox before you ever see it. Every contact attempt is recorded, and the sender is served a formal notice of refused delivery telling them so.

Access is by invitation while in private beta.

NOTICE OF REFUSED DELIVERY

Your message has been refused.

The person you wrote to has elected not to receive correspondence from your address. Your message was removed from their mailbox without being read.

A record of this contact attempt has been stored. It may be provided to the recipient's legal representatives, the police or the courts.

The problem

You can block anyone, anywhere. Except in your inbox.

On every messaging app, blocking someone takes one tap and their messages stop arriving. Email has never worked that way. Your provider's "block" button only moves their messages to spam, where they wait for you, and the sender is never told a thing.

Platform When you block someone
WhatsAppTheir messages stop reaching you
TelegramTheir messages stop reaching you
ViberTheir messages stop reaching you
Instagram & MessengerTheir messages stop reaching you
GmailMoved to spam, kept for 30 days, sender never informed
Gmail + HardBouncerRemoved unread, sender formally notified, every attempt on record

How it works

One decision. We handle the rest.

01

Block the sender

Add an address, or an entire domain, to your block list. You never have to deal with them again.

02

Intercepted

Every new message is removed from your inbox within a minute, unread. Not moved to spam, not moved to trash. You never see it.

03

Formally notified

The sender receives a formal notice of refused delivery from HardBouncer. Not from you, and never a reply they can argue with.

04

On record

Every contact attempt is recorded with a reference number and timestamp, ready for a lawyer, the police or a court.

The record

Every attempt, documented.

Harassment is a pattern, and patterns need proof. HardBouncer keeps every message a blocked sender attempts, complete and untouched, with a dated log. You never have to open one.

Questions

Before you request access.

Will the sender know they have been blocked?

Yes. That is the point. They receive a formal notice from HardBouncer stating that their message was refused and that the attempt has been recorded. The notice comes from HardBouncer, not from your address, and reveals nothing about your account.

Can I use the record as evidence?

Every contact attempt is recorded with a unique reference number that also appears in the notice the sender received. You can export the full record for any blocked sender to share with a lawyer, the police or a court. How it is used in any proceedings is a matter for them.

Can I read a blocked message if I need to?

It will never reappear in your inbox. Every attempt remains in your record if you ever need it. Most people never look. That is the point.

Does HardBouncer read my email?

No. Only messages from senders on your block list are ever touched, and they are recorded, never read or analysed. Mail from anyone else is never accessed.

Which email providers are supported?

Gmail and Google Workspace during the private beta. Outlook and iCloud will follow.

Is this a substitute for going to the police?

No. HardBouncer protects your inbox and documents what happens. If you feel you are in danger, contact your local emergency services immediately.
